Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with personnel and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a positive atmosphere and help maintain order throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist employees and visitors with questions or concerns related to site access and procedures.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
