Position : Property Accountant
Salary : $75K + 18% bonus

Property Accountant Highlights :

• Company: Our client is a fast growing publicly traded REIT. In the past 5 years they have not only doubled their headcount but also their portfolio.
• Opportunity: This is a newly created position that offers visibility, variabilty, and impact opportunity.
• Position: The Property Accountant will be in charge of handling the day-to-day accounting and reporting for the properties
• Benefits: They offer a highly competitive bonus structure; pay 100% of medical, dental & vision; and allow employees to opt into their half day Friday program. Employees work 9 hours Monday-Thursday and only work 4 hours on Fridays year round.

The Property Accountant's responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

• Preparation of timely and accurate monthly property financial statements
• Monthly bank statement reconciliation and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items.
• Cash management, assist with quarterly forecast and budget cash needs.
• Calculate back-billings to tenants and work with the property managers to finalize and process billings.
• Prepare profit and loss statement, property recovery calculations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree
• 0-3 years of general accounting experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/changing environment
