Responsible for shaping and executing on visual concepts, as well as offering creative input, for video and photographic content initiatives. This individual will work in partnership with audio and visual production teams across the firm and with select vendors to help produce and amplify content across the client’s content channels.

This role will focus on capturing executive visibility moments, high-profile internal and external events, and branded content that reflects the professionalism and prestige of the investment banking client’s brand. Building and maintaining repeatable and elevated production modalities will be key to success in this role, generating a steady flow of high-quality, industry-leading content — ranging from mini-docs to short-form social videos and podcasts, among other audio, video, and photographic formats.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in video production, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and video/photo/audio editing — whether in a media organization, production company, corporate team, or as a freelancer. They should have a strong sense of social content and storytelling that balances business stakeholder needs with audience engagement. They must be subject matter experts in digital production for multi-platform content and be comfortable interacting with senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit high-quality video and photography assets that elevate executive visibility, including leadership interviews, firmwide town halls, speaking engagements, and media appearances.
  • Cover major internal and external events such as conferences, sponsorship activations, and client experiences—from behind-the-scenes storytelling to polished recap videos.
  • Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment in both on-location and studio environments, maintaining production quality standards.
  • Lead post-production work including video editing, motion graphics, photo retouching, and asset delivery for digital, social, and internal channels.
  • Organize and tag media assets in coordination with the firm’s digital asset management (DAM) system.
  • Repurpose existing content (e.g., webinars, interviews) into snackable, social-friendly formats.
  • Maintain visual consistency in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, writing, and executive teams to ensure creative work aligns with campaign goals and brand strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of professional experience in video/photographic production.
  • Background in creating investment- or finance-related content in a corporate or media setting.
  • Expert-level production instincts and ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
  • Advanced experience with camera systems (Sony/Canon/Blackmagic), lighting, and audio tools.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom); DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Strong editing, media management, and organizational skills.
  • Solid documentary/event photography abilities, with experience working independently and under brand style guidelines.
  • Excellent storytelling, visual composition, and discretion in executive environments.
  • Team player with strong time-management and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant work is required.
